用户总结: Defective headphone jack design or horrible quality control
用户评语: Either the quality control in the manufacturing plant is horrid, or there is a design flaw in the headphone jack on the Zune HD. I have now received two units which had defective head phone jacks. In order to get the sound to work properly, you have to fiddle with the plug and twist it until the sound works, and then never move it or yourself again or it will stop working. I tried both the earbuds that come with the Zune and another set I know works. Both have the same problem when trying to use them with the Zune, but they work just fine in other players.

用户评语: I received the Zune yesterday and was excited to get started. I have a zen now and wanted something with more features. I unpacked it and downloaded the software which is not easy to understand. Had some of my songs on there and plugged the earphones in and NOTHING! Being new to the Zune I played around with it changing volume changing apps etc.... Then when I jiggled the plug I heard something and then gently moved the wire and Yes there it was.....But it didn't stay on. I am returning it and getting another hoping another will work. If not I will go back to my Zen.

用户评语: I got the Zune HD for my wife, sort of like a going away present days before I had to leave on deployment overseas. She recieved it and tried to install the software on her computer, but it wont sync, the computer doesn't recognize it. That's just the begining of the problems. She's well versed in computer useage and lingo and she tried downloading the updates countless times and installed, uninstalled, reinstalled the drivers, updates, and still the unit wont sync and the computer wont recognize. Later we called customer service and it was directed to the other side of the planet to non-english speaking idiots who are reading off a flow chart not knowing or understanding what was the real problem telling us to delete and then reinstall and delete again. They said software was not compatible with the most recent media player updates, so there was a down grade of the player. Still didnt' work. There was deletion of the player. Still didn't work. Error messages that ran in circles. Downloads and installations all over the place. We wound up having to reformat the computer just trying to make this damn thing work. Long story short. Its day three and she's no where near able to transfer any music onto the unit, sync up with her computer. And I feel like a total idiot for getting her this POS frustration.
PS for those who didn't know Zune HD is not compatible with WinXP64... just thougth I toss that out there even tho not very many people can get it. #but that wasn't our problem#

用户评语: I am bewildered that anyone would give this thing a good rating. I purchased this because of the reviews and it quickly went back (thank God Amazon stands behind their product). Only Microsoft could get away with selling a product with NO printed documentation. You get more help from user forums. Buy the Samsung - trust me I've had them all!

用户评语: Since it was released, the screen flicker has always been issues for many users. Search on Google about "Zune HD Flicker" and you will see what I am talking about. I just purchased this yesterday 12/27/09 and I have already noticed the screen flicker issues. I wish I had known about this issue earlier so I don't have to waste my time going about returning it. So I am posting here so you know before you purchase this item. This actually affects both 32GB and 16GB version of Zune HD. Other than that I am quite happy with it, I like the music subscription service where you can stream or download albums. I am just hoping Microsoft get their act together to fix this issue and make it one of the better players on the market. but so far it has been no luck, and doubt it can be fixed by firmware update. It seems like a hardware shielding issue.
