Klipsch IMAGE S4 In-Ear Enhanced Bass Noise-Isolating Headphones 用户反馈:

用户打分: 用户总结: poor build quality 用户评语: I dare you to own this product for up to a year. I have bought 2, yes you read it 2, and they have both croaked on me within 11/2 months of use, one ear just gives up! (these are not my only pair of earphones so it can't be me!) they are excellent sounding but last as long as a hummingbird or something.
用户打分: 用户总结: Not Impressed at All! 用户评语: I have a pair of Sony MDR 300 & 500s and Bang & Olfunson headphones. After reading the reviews on the Klipsch S4 headphones with noise cancellation, I thought they would be a great choice. As soon as I tried them, disppaointment set in. Tiny bass and treble left alot to be desired. Thinking the cause of the poor sound was the earbuds, I tried every pair (there were three of them) and had the same result. I was testing using an IPOD Touch, IPOD Nano, Cowon S9 and Sony Walkman as the players and sound on each device was not right. BTW - I'm a normal guy with normal ears and have no issues with my other headphones.
Maybe I had a bad pair but this isn't the set for me.
用户打分: 用户总结: Returned 用户评语: Very disappointed with these headphones. They looked great on paper, but the sound quality was not acceptable to me. They've received great reviews elsewhere, but they were not for me. Thank you Amazon for your amazing return policy. I did find a great pair of earphones for a third of the price. Sound is a personal thing, these weren't mine.
用户打分: 用户总结: ... read the low reviews before you make the mistake I did 用户评语: A few days ago I lost my Shure SE115's, and I decided I would give another company a chance.. I was "shure" that there might be something better out there. I read the absolutely glowing reviews for these headphones, and I was in best buy the very same day to pick them up. I picked up a box of SE115's for comparison and in case I didn't like the Klipsch pair.
Goodness was I disappointed. From the moment I opened the box I noticed how incredibly thin and flimsy the cable is for this.. I could snap it with my fingernail. From that point on, even if they had incredible sound, I knew that I would always be worried about the wire snagging. The product itself is made of plastic that feels incredibly cheap in your hands... like a $10-20 pair of earbuds you'd expect to last for a few months. Upon putting them in with the standard sized buds I felt the scraping of the earphones... and with the larger buds the sound quality was slightly better but no where near as full and rich as my Shure SE115's.
I'm not an audio expert, but I'm very sensitive to the "fullness" and range of sound that I get with my headphones. I was shocked at the difference between the thick, solid cabling on my Shures and the flimsy, dental floss feel of the Klipsch cabling.
Furthermore, I can't say I'm a fan of the rubber earbuds. I've been spoiled with the foam inserts of the Shures that just expand until they fill up your ear canal, so these didn't work too well for me. I'm keeping the SE115's, which aren't phenomenal or top of the line, but I'm extremely comfortable with their sound quality, bass response, and overall construction.
I'd suggest that you buy these at a store so that you can return them quickly if you are disappointed. good luck! Then amazon it!
用户打分: 用户总结: Don't believe the Hype! These headphones are not worth $80! 用户评语: I bought these after reading good reviews on CNET and here on amazon. Simply put, these are not $80 headphones. These are $30-$40 headphones masquerading as "higher-end" phones. I have to believe that most of the positive reviews here are written by people coming straight from iPod earbuds, and haven't heard a real good pair of headphones in their life.
Frankly, the sound quality sucks given the cost. The bass is overpowering and muddy, the mids sound canned, and the highs are virtually nonexistent. Overall, these have a very flat and dull sound. I gave them a chance with the recommended burn-in period of a week or so, but I couldn't deal with the terrible sound. I sent them back and bought some Grados instead. Honestly, I prefer my Sennheiser PX-100's (which I bought for about $35 a few years back) over these crappy Klipsch phones.
If you're looking for a good in-ear headphone, I suggest looking at Shure, Grado, or some other established brands in the sub $100 price range. I own a pair of Shure E2c's that I love dearly, but they broke after only about six months.
Also, a note on comfort. I found I had to insert these phones much deeper into my ear canal than my Shure E2c's to get a good seal and this was quite uncomfortable. Not good for extended listening. They were also very hard to get in and out of the ear compared to the E2c's, which I imagine would wear on the wire connections over time.
Finally, I'm skeptical of the build quality. All the wires were very thin, and looked like they weren't going to last long. The case was nothing more than a glorified Altoids tin, and they don't include foam tips. Foam tips are key to comfortably using in-ear-headphones for extended periods of time!
