It is a rubbery/silicone material that fits the Nano perfectly and can be put on and removed easily. It protects every part of the iPod's metal case, while leaving the click wheel and screen uncovered, and makes gripping the Nano easier. Other cases cover the click wheel, making it difficult or impossible to use. Others involve permanently affixing some sort of plastic film "screen protection" to the screen, which traps in dust, leaves air bubbles and then itself damages easily. I didn't want anything over the screen or click wheel, just something to protect the body of the Nano while it's sitting in my car, and that's exactly what I got. For the price, it can't be beat. I got a couple other accessories with the case - I think an armband - which I don't need or want, but that's OK. And a note - this was shipped the same day as the Nano I bought from Amazon. Although it came from farther away, it arrived before the Nano did. If you plan to use it to strap on to a running armband, be aware that the I-Pod tends to slip if you're running vigorously. You can switch it around so the earphone jack is towards you to avoid slippage. All in all, alright cover to protect the nano. 用户打分: 用户总结: Not as good as it could have been. 用户评语: I had a similar cover for my first iPod Nano (2nd generation) that I was happy with so when I got a new iPod I decided to try and get the same type of cover. I ordered two as I didn't want them to become obsolete as they did with my first iPod. What disappointed me most about this cover is that it didn't protect the iPod screen at all. Because there is no cover over the screen the width of the plastic in some areas is minimal and doesn't want to stay flat -- instead it buckles in weird places along the side and top and around the screen. After trying to get the cover to stay in place and stay flat for a month I gave up and got a different type of cover that also protected the screen. Luckily I don't feel like I wasted a lot of money as the covers are cheap, but I wish they would have been of slightly better quality even at that price. 用户打分: 用户总结: NO SCREEN PROTECTION 用户评语: Before ordering, I should have noticed that the screen is not protected with this case.
