用户评语: I bought my first sansa three years ago and it was awesome, I liked it alot. Then one day it refused to turn on or connect to my computer. I thought it was just its time to die, because I had gotten alot of use out of it. Last week I ordered the Fuze 8gb, and I thought it was really nice. I put some music on it and the first time I tried to use it, IT WOULDN'T TURN ON OR CONNECT TO MY COMPUTER! The battery is fully charged, so the blue wheel stays lit, but you cannot turn it off, and it won't power up completely. This is the same thing that happened to my old one, only this one is BRAND NEW! Maybe its a sansa glitch? All I know is I'm very angry about this and now have to go through all the hassles of returning this item. I think I'm gonna go Ipod after all.

用户评语: This would've gotten four stars, but since the device crapped out on me after four months it barely gets half a star. I took such good care of this thing too, did not drop it once and even put a small clear case around it to protect and yet it still died.
Looking at this from an objective viewpoint, assuming the thing didn't stop working, I was really impressed with the Fuze: decent features, portable, easy to use. The battery could have lasted longer but I was overall impressed with the device. I only bought it for listening to MP3s so I can't tell you about the video playback.
I noticed other reviewers had similar problems with the device crapping out within months as well. I read these reviews and did my homework before buying the the Fuze, so I bought the device at my own risk. Apparently it's easier to craft satellites with the capability to zoom in on a random mosquito's rear-end anywhere in the world than it is to build a decent, long lasting little gadget like the Fuze. Seriously? Son of a...
Buy at your own risk. It truly is a great little MP3 player with a relatively decent price compared to the cheapest iPod, which is roughly $4,000 depending on the strength of the dollar when you buy it, but how long the Fuze will last you (even with the greatest of TLC) is anyone's guess.

用户评语: I got this as a birthday present. The first one had to be returned because the battery would not hold a charge right out of the box. The second one would charge but in order to have it recognized as a device, I had to research a work around, change settings and uninstall/reinstall it. Turns out, many other Fuze owners have this problem as well, both at start-up and a few months into using it. Way too much work for an MP3 player. Not sure if I will keep it or send it back for a refund.

用户评语: After having enjoyed a reliable three years of using the 4GB unit, I decided to upgrade to the 8GB. I had nothing but problems with it. Amazon.com offered outstanding customer service. I want to offer a kudos to them! This review is about the poor experiences I had with this unit.
My first order, the unit just turned off without any notice. It was fully charged because I had charged it the night before. It had only been on for 3 hours. I tried to revive it by rebooting, plugging into the usb. Nothing. Returned item for another one.
The second order, this one would start songs in the middle of the track. The only problem was it was not the track that was displayed on the screen. Then, after playing the first song (half way through) the next song would stop after 2 seconds and the unit would freeze.
I went online to see if there were any firmware updates that I may be able to fix it. Nothing. Returned again!
Being a baseball fan and being very pleased with the 4GB unit, I persevered and tried again. This one lasted 2 weeks before it died. It, too, has not been able to reboot as like the first try.
In final, I am not sure what happened to the Sanza Fuze since I bought the 4GB unit. But, I will no longer recommend the product after giving it three tries. Again, I commend Amazon.com for being so service oriented as I tried to have good faith they the first two were defective. Now, after the third strike, I have ordered the Creative Zen 32 GB. It had good reviews here on Amazon. Wish me luck!

用户总结: Customer Service is Pretty Bad
用户评语: When I got the Fuze it seemed pretty nice. It downloaded most of my music when I asked and the sound was good. Unfortunately the Fuze stopped being recognized by my computer. I was pretty surprised when I found I could call the SanDisk Help line and talk to a real person. After about 2 weeks of trying stuff out and discovering that my Fuze wasn't recognized by any computer, they gave me a return authorization and I sent it back. After sending it back it was as if I disappeared from the planet. SanDisk has failed to return any emails I've sent them asking for a rough time to expect a repair or replacement. I've had the thing for two months but I haven't been able to use it for 45 days.
I see the great reviews and they were why I bought the Fuze in the first place. I understand my experience is probably a rare one, but I really hate it when a company simply ignores a customer's problem. I also should mention that during the two weeks I worked with SanDisk to resolve the problem I lost the ability to return the Fuze to Amazon (30 day limit). If you have a problem with the Fuze my experience says to get it back to Amazon within the thiry days because I haven't had much success with SanDisk.
