Apple iPod classic 160 GB Black (7th Generation) NEWEST MODEL 用户反馈:
|
用户打分: 用户总结: An Unevolved iPod 用户评语: The new iPod classic is a huge disappointment with only one positive note. When Apple had their live music event last week, Apple should have trimmed the scroll wheel to the size of the nano's wheel, increased the screen size, or increase memory capacity beyond 160GB. Instead they failed to do everything that would improve the iPod classic. Yes, we now have a 160GB model as oppose to the 120GB model. However, the 160GB model was already released two years ago despite the fact that it was a bit on the bulkier side. On top of that, the black model still has that cheap AWFUL looking plastic casing on the top that seems to have been manufactured at a dollar store. The iPod is a decent MP3 player and its ease of use is great. But its flaw comes in the fact that its failed to EVOLVE properly. The Zune atleast has a huge 3.2 inch screen while the iPod size has remained the same. Another sad note is that Apple of course has gone ahead and poured all their creative ideas into the iPod Nano by giving them those great fashion colors and now they even have the luxury of a built in camcorder that records video in High Def from what i hear. The videos can also easily upload to Facebook or YouTube. Plus, the Nano now has a FM Radio.
If Apple couldn't provide the Classic model with Fashion colors they could have at least given this so-called new model a built in camera/camcorder or the FM Radio. Apple, does this make any sense?
Pros: Big memory for music lovers with an extensive music library
Battery Life
Cons: No evolution whatsoever
Small Screen Size that has not changed in over 6 years
No camcorder/camera
Cheap Plastic Cover
No Fashion Colors
No radio
No wi-fi
No FM Radio
No customizable backgrounds
Metal back still gets scratched easily
Cheap ear phones etc
用户打分: 用户总结: Apple continues assault on consumer 用户评语: Be aware (I sure wasn't), that Apple has decided you're just renting both the iPod and your music/tv shows/podcasts from them. Now, not only is it still a pain in the behind to transfer your files to anything other than the computer they started on, but now you have to buy a 50$! cord from Apple, of course, to watch your TV shows on your own TV because they now implant chips to prevent you from using non-Apple approved (and priced) accessories. I was a huge fan of the iPod when I got my first one four years ago. I looked on my iTunes account and I've spent thousands of dollars on a few thousand TV shows, movies, songs and audiobooks, but I am done. I am tired of Apple acting like they are doing me a favor by selling me a product. I'm returning my new iPod and buying some other MP3 player. I don't care which one anymore. Apple is so deeply offensive as a company that I'm just totally, completely, 100% DONE with them.
用户打分: 用户总结: Dangerous and unreliable 用户评语: I bought a 30GB iPod, a few years ago which I did not use much. I really only used it occasionally when taking long flights. A few months ago while charging it, it caught fire in my living room. Luckily I noticed the smell, and was able to pick it up with a tongs and put it out in my back garden until it cooled down. I returned it to the Apple Store in Regents Street, and they promptly replaced it with a new one.
I used the new one a bit more frequently than the old one, and used to listen to it on my commute to work. After about three and a half months it stopped working. I brought it in to the apple store, and they told me it had a three month warranty, and because I had gone a few days outside the warranty, they would not be replacing it. They offered to sell me a replacement at a discount, but when I left the store and looked online to see how much money I would be saving, I realised that the discount was actually just the market price of my iPod.
I spent about 20 minutes trying to find the complaints area of their web site (it seems they do not wish to hear from their customers), and wrote in a letter detailing the issue. Once I had submitted my complaint, the website told me "Please note that while we read all suggestions carefully, we are unable to personally respond."
I am awfully disappointed with the quality of the Apple products that I have owned, one being dangerous, and the other being faulty. I would strongly recommend against buying one of these, and I will never buy another Apple product due to their disgraceful customer service.
用户打分: 用户总结: An overrated rip off! 用户评语: When I bought my first iPod classic just over 2 years ago, I was absolutely enthralled at the amazing capacity and versatility of this product. Being a music lover and collector, it was a dream come true to be able to carry almost my entire music collection with me. My first iPod classic was a silver 80GB. I was so impressed that three months later, I bought my husband a black 80GB to take with him when he travels on business. The silver 80GB lasted just over a year. One day I was playing it and went to fast forward to the next track and poof - the screen went black and I was not able to reboot or reset it at all. Since it was no longer under warranty, I stuck it in a drawer and used the other black 80 GB that I had bought for my husband. Approximately three months later, the black iPod classic died exactly the same way (and conveniently no longer under warranty). So, I went and purchased two more, this time a black 120GB and silver 120GB. My son uses the black one, and as far as I know is still working. In August, I purchased the silver 120GB. Within 1 month, this one died the same was as my first two. I took this one to the Apple Store in a mall near my home and they swapped it for a new one. Two months later, the warranty replacement iPod died. Once again, I took it to the nearby Apple Store for yet another replacement. This time, the technician who helped me kept making comments and innuendos alleging that I was abusing the iPod. The way I use my iPod is what I would consider normal use. I have a Bose dock that I sometimes play it on. I also have an Alpine AM/FM car audio receiver made for iPod. I also have a mini dock with speakers that I keep at work. The Apple store technician made a comment to me suggesting that perhaps I shouldn't be using the iPod this way. Now the second replacement iPod I got in November died just a week ago (lasted about 2 months). For me, that was it with iPods. If Apple manufactures this product to play music with, then it should be compatible with all the docks out there. I think that Apple has a very lucrative racket going on with the iPod consumer. You spend an average of $230 for an iPod and it lasts maybe just over one year. If the battery goes or the iPod dies, you are not able to change the battery yourself to make it work again. If you have Apple do the repairs, it costs almost as much as just buying a new one. So, then what do you do? You go buy another new iPod. The concept is wonderful, but the product quality and durability is shabby and inexcusable. I could go on about how you can't play tracks you buy from iTunes on anything but the iPod, but many other starry eyed consumers such as me have learned the hard way. I think that eventually, the public's love affair with the iPod will eventually wear off and unless Apple remedies their quality and reliability problems with the iPod, Apple has a hard fall coming. You can't keep ripping people off this way, Apple, and expect them to keep coming back.
用户打分: 用户总结: Kaputt after 1 year and no major use 用户评语: One fine day my 160 gb classic iPod stopped showing on iTunes. So I took it to the nearest Apple store hoping to fix the problem. There the iPod "guru" looked at it, and after 15 min, came back telling me (quote): "I have bad news and good news; the bad news is that, despite our efforts, we can't fix your iPod; the good news is that if you want to get a new one, we'll give you 10% today". WHAAAAT!! I have roughly 300 songs in it only, it has always been sitting in my Bose dock station, save for a couple of walks where I took it with me (no running or any other major movement that could have destabilize the hard drive). I am really disappointed. I though Apple would stand behind their products. I have a 7 year old 40 gb iPod that I gave to my daughter, and, regretfully, it works MUCH better than the modern iPods. I will probably get another iPod, since my entire music library is in Apple format and I like the look and accessories of Apple products. However, I am not expecting it to last long. Another disposable electronic product. This time, coming from Apple instead of Microsoft...Sad, sad, sad...
